Funding Litigation: The Challenge - A paper presented to the 24th Australian Institute of Judicial Administration Conference 2006

This paper was delivered by John Corker on 17 September 2006 at the above conference.  It identifies barriers to pro bono assisting with litigation, covers such issues as court pro bono referral schemes and litigants in person and makes some suggestions for ways forward with the issues. The NPBRC's Aspirational Pro Bono Target

This is a brochure that was prepared for the National Access to Justice and Pro Bono Conference 2006.  It foreshadows a voluntary aspirational pro bono target to start on 1 January 2007.  Available here.

An information paper that provides information and ideas to encourage the creation, uptake and expansion of pro bono work across regional, rural and remote (RRR) Australia. In particular, it focuses on providing pro bono legal assistance to disadvantaged communities by working in partnerships with community legal organisations in RRR areas.
