John Corker has been the Director of Australia’s National Pro Bono Resource Centre since January 2004.
Previously John was a senior associate with national law firm Clayton Utz, General Counsel for the Australian Broadcasting Authority, Corporate Counsel for Imparja Television in Alice Springs, solicitor at the Central Australian Aboriginal Legal Aid Service and a barrister at the Victorian bar.
John has been a practising lawyer for over 25 years and obtained his undergraduate degrees from Monash University(B. Ec 1976, LLB 1978) and Masters of Laws degree from the University of NSW (LLM)(IT, Media and Communications) 2002.
John is also a Visiting Fellow in the UNSW Law School and member of the faculty's Law and Social Justice Group and teaches UNSW post graduate law students in Communications and Media Law.
